VOLUNTEER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: The Volunteer Internship Program (V.I.P) was the first university program of its kind in Canada. V.I.P. helps you gain career experience, skills and access to employment resources before graduation. V.I.P. lets you volunteer in the community and apply what you are learning in the class to ”real life” situations. Even – better you’II receive recognition for your work on academic transcript, and with a certificate of completion signed by the president of the university.

V.I.P. works with more than 150 non-profit and government agencies in the city of Windsor and Essex country. The volunteer work is career-related and challenging. Most importantly, V.I.P. is open to students from every academic area. V.I.P. gives more than 300 students each year a chance to learn and develop skills from professionals in organizations where they may one day be employed.
